The Spark behind Bright Sparks™
Hi, I’m Jen!
I am an occupational therapist, former teacher, and mom of two.
I believe toddler learning should be messy, magical, and feel exactly like play when it’s done right.
I’ve spent years helping little ones build resilience, problem-solving skills, and emotional regulation through hands-on play. And as a mom, I know what it feels like to want your child to thrive without dimming their spark.
Bright Sparks was inspired by my son, Kenzo. He is a bold, curious two-year-old who shines when he’s free to explore. This is the program I wanted for him but couldn’t find. A place where science and sensory-play collide, and where joyful chaos is honored as real learning.
That’s what Bright Sparks Play Lab™ is: a place where toddlers can test, spill, build, and discover while parents find connection, coffee, and the reassurance that this chaos = growth.
🌈 Mission
At Bright Sparks, we believe the best learning happens when kids feel joyful, seen, and celebrated for their unique spark.
We don’t see toddlers as “learners in waiting.” We see curious makers and creators who are already brimming with potential (and already covered in paint).
Success isn’t numbers on a chart. It’s a belly laugh during a messy experiment, a parent and child leaving more connected, and a spark of wonder that follows families home.
